APROXIMACIONES A LA TEOLOGÍA DE LA LIBERACIÓN HOY SEGÚN LOS SIGNOS DE LOS TIEMPOS

RESUMEN

Aparecida es y debe seguir siendo un verdadero kairós para nuestra Iglesia y nuestros pueblos de América Latina y el Caribe. Es necesario volver la mirada a Medellín, pues es el tiempo y el espacio providencial en el que se dieron las condiciones propicias para que se diera la Teología de la Liberación. En Medellín se entrecruzan y complementan tres líneas fundamentales del quehacer pastoral de la Iglesia, a la luz de una actualizada visión teológica en aquellos momentos: la opción por los pobres, las comunidades eclesiales de base y las aspiraciones de liberación. Los Documentos de Puebla y Santo Domingo continúan en la misma. La Teología de la Liberación que es una respuesta a los signos de los tiempos enfrenta un triple desafío que identifica algunas de sus actuales respuestas: en el orden socioeconómico, en el orden cultural y en el orden religioso.

ABSTRACT 

Aparecida is and should continue being a truth kairós for our Church and our people in Latin America and the Caribbean. It is necessary to redirect our attention to Medellin, a providential time and space for the proper conditions to give birth to the Theology of liberation. In Medellin, we found three fundamental lines of the pastoral action of the Church mixed and complemented by an updated theological vision of that moment: the option for the poor, the basic ecclesial communities and the aspirations for liberation. The papers from Puebla and Santo Domingo continue this orientation. The Liberation Theology, an answer to the signs of times, faces a three side challenge which identifies some of its current answers in: sociological, cultural and religious pierspectives.
