Resumen.

El Sínodo sobre la “Palabra de Dios en la vida y misión de la Iglesia”, no nos puede pasar por alto a nosotros los consagrados. La escucha atenta y el ejercicio de compartir la Palabra en la comunidad nos han ayudado a descubrir el sentido profundo de nuestra vocación como signo y expresión de la Alianza de Dios con su pueblo. La vida religiosa que hemos abrazado no es un modelo ético, sino una pasión, una aventura, un riesgo, un itinerario a recorrer con los ojos y los oídos abiertos y en el que la única brújula que guía a la meta es la de la misericordia y la ternura. El contacto habitual con la Palabra es algo que todos los religiosos y religiosas cuidamos con esmero porque sabemos que allí vamos a encontrar la fuente capaz de colmar nuestra sed y el agua que hemos de compartir con muchos hombres y mujeres que, en nuestra sociedad, buscan aliviar su sed con tantos sucedáneos que no son capaces de colmarla.

Abstract

We consecrates cannot ignore the synod about “The word of god in life and mission of the church”. Aspects like listening intently and the exercise of going along with the Word within our community have helped us discover the deep meaning of our vocation as a sing and expression of the alliance that God made with his people. The religious life that we have chosen is not an ethical model, but passion, adventure, risk, schedule to follow with our open eyes and ears in which the only way to reach the goal is through compassion and love. The everyday contact with the Word is something that religious people care for deeply, for we know that we approach it in order to find the source that will quench our thirst and the water that we are to share with men and women that in our society precisely need to satisfy their thirst too because other substitutes cannot do so.
